Emotional Freedom Techniques, EFT, is a form of psychological acupressure. It is based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture. The client taps specific meridian points on the head and chest with their fingertips, while being guided through discussing their specific problems. After expressing and releasing their emotions, the client taps in positive affirmations to recalibrate how they would like their brain to respond. In 2 or 3 private sessions clients learn the basics of tapping these points to release and reprogram physical and emotional pain. These techniques are empowering and can be used at home to help manage stress or anxiety, to cope with grief, or release physical pain. Clients can schedule private sessions to deal with multi-layered deeper issues which they need support navigating through.
