DR. ELLEN GERMAN DVM, DVCP



Animal Health Hospital has provided affordable, high quality veterinary care to Boise, Idaho for many years. Founder, Dr. Ellen German, received her Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and graduated from Tuft’s Veterinary School in 1992. Before opening Animal Health Hospital in 2003, Dr. German worked at various animal clinics providing quality animal care. In her spare time, she cares for the pets of homeless citizens and participates in Friendly Fixers, the weekly, low-cost cat spay and neuter clinic at Pet Haven in Nampa, Idaho. The wonderful staff at Animal Health Hospital, assist in Friendly Fixers events helping to keep stray cats off the streets and into their forever homes.

Dr. German has successfully raised three daughters. In her free time, Dr. German enjoys travel, biking, golf, scuba diving, and spending quality time with family and friends.

For overall health, we provide wellness exams and annual check-ups to ensure your pet is receiving the nutrients and care to live a long and healthy life. Should your pet need surgery, we offer foreign body surgeries, tumor removal, and planned C-Sections. We will take care of your pet, no matter the issue.

CERTIFIED VETERINARY CHIRO-PRACTITIONER (CVCP)
Dr. German strives to provide complete animal care. In addition to medical services, as a certified veterinary chiro-practitioner (CVCP), she can treat back injuries, hip dysplasia, and other skeletal issues. Dr. German and her experienced staff have the necessary skills to meet your veterinary needs.
