Julie Watson is an C-IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist, a Corrective Exercise Specialist, an educator and owner of Yoga Therapy of Boise, LLC.




Julie offers a holistic integrative approach to pain management, mental health and more. With 15 years of experience and working alongside healthcare professionals, she focuses on supporting healing and empowering others to live a better and healthier life. Julie’s experience includes teaching yoga for stress & anxiety, depression, trauma, common types of pain, orthopedic issues, neurological conditions, sports recovery and prevention/healty aging. In addition to her private practice, for over 5 years she's worked in a healthcare environment with an interdisciplinary team at an integrated pain care center. From spinal injuries to joint replacements, frozen shoulder to repetitive stress injuries, she works with and teaches patients functional movement, exercise, yoga therapy to better manage their pain and improve their physical function and everyday living. She also teach group meditation and breathing lectures to help improve sleep and manage mental health. Her work combines postures, corrective exercise, self-myofascial release, breathing techniques, meditation, and more. She offers in-person and programs for individuals, small groups, and corporate wellness, and she teaches educational wellness events and workshops to teachers, practitioners and students.
